Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the first respondent in Ref.No.Estt.2/appointments/2010-2011 dated 25.06.2010 and the subsequent impugned proceedings issued by the first respondent in Ref.No.GRI/REG/2015-2016 dated 25.09.2015 and to quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner to the post of Assistant Professor in Hindi based on the selection conducted in the year 2010 with all consequential and other benefits within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the third respondent made a submission that the third respondent reached the age of superannuation and retired from service on 31.08.2019.

2.The relief sought for in the present writ peition is to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.20430 of 2014 quash the order of appointment of the third respondent in the post of Assistant Professor in Hindi. In view of the fact that the services of the third respondent came to an end and retired from service, no further adjucation is required with reference to the ground raised in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
