This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue a joint patta in the name of deceased patta holder K.Kaliappan legal heirs namely, petitioner and his brothers in respect of their properties in S.No.34/1B1, in an extent of 0.62.5 Ares and 34/3A, in an extent of 0.60.0 Ares, Patta No.3, Thiruppuvanam Pudur village, Thirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District within time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The petitioner submitted an online application seeking transfer of patta. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submits that the petitioner's application would be considered on merits and in accordance with law. 2/4

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say that if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
