ORDER

The writ petition is seeking for a Mandamus to forbear the first respondent from erecting any pole in the petitioner's property in D.No.1/180, at Sankarapandiyapuram Village Panchayat, Sathur Taluk, Virudhunagar District. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the respondents are trying to erect a pole in the petitioner's land for granting service connection to the third respondent. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the written instruction of the first respondent to the learned Standing Counsel dated 03.02.2023 has been placed before me. He had specifically stated that the third respondent herein had been given a service connection in an alternate route and that no poles have been erected in the petitioner's land. He had also made a statement that in a near future also, there is no proposal to erect any pole in the petitioner's land. 2/4

4.In view of the specific statement made by the first respondent, there is no necessity to adjudicate the matter any further. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
