JUDGMENT

(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.

2.The appellant is an aspirant for the post of secondary grade teacher. She took part in the recruitment process held last year. The appellant belongs to MBC (DNC) (PMK) category. The cut off mark for this category was fixed at 95, but the appellant scored only 91 marks. The case of the appellant was that the key answers to some of the questions were incorrect. She therefore challenged her non-selection by filing W.P(MD)No.17886 of 2025. The learned single Judge vide order dated 03.07.2025 dismissed the writ petition. The learned single Judge applied the ratio laid down in Ran Vijay Singh & Others Vs State of UP & Others (2018 (0) AIR (SC) 52). Aggrieved by the same, this Writ Appeal has been filed.

3.Even though we endorse the approach of the learned single Judge, in order to satisfy our conscience, we called upon the learned counsel for the appellant to demonstrate that at least one of the key answers pointed out by him is demonstrably wrong.

4.The learned counsel for the appellant drew our attention to the Question No.44 which reads as follows:

The correct answer is option (D). But the appellant had ticked option (B) as a correct answer.

5.We are satisfied that the aforesaid key answer is correct and the appellant has been labouring under a wrong assumption. In matters such as this, the scope for interference by the writ Court is rather limited. 6.This Writ Appeal stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
