PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the Sessions Judge, Special Court of Exclusive Trial of cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989 Ramanathapuram to consider the Petitioners bail application on the same day of their surrender in Crime No. 277 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police. 1/4

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Sessions Judge, Special Court of Exclusive Trial of cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989 Ramanathapuram to consider the Petitioners bail application on the same day of their surrender in Crime No. 277 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

2. It is the submission of the learned Counsel for the Petitioners that the victim sustained only simple injuries.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side)would submit that the victim sustained simple injuries and no previous case is pending against the Petitioners.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The Petitioners are directed to surrender before the Sessions Judge, Special Court of Exclusive 2/4

Trial of cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989 Ramanathapuram within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order or 15 days from the date of uploading the order copy in the website of this Court . The Special Judge shall consider the bail application of the Petitioners and dispose of the same as per law.
