PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India to set aside the fair and decreetal order dated 15.04.2025 in I.A.No. 83 of 2025 in O.S.No 24 of 2018 on the file of the Additional District Court, Pudukkottai.

For Petitioners : Mr.Mukesh.S 1/4

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to set aside the fair and decreetal order dated 15.04.2025 made in I.A.No.83 of 2025 in O.S.No.24 of 2018 on the file of the Additional District Court, Pudukkottai.

2. The petitioners are plaintiff Nos.2 and 3 in O.S.No.24 of 2018 before the learned Additional District Judge, Pudukkottai. The second respondent is the first plaintiff in the said suit. The first respondent is the defendant in the said suit. The said suit was filed by the petitioners along with respondent No.2 seeking recovery of money against the first respondent. Pending the suit, the trial Court ordered attachment of property and thereafter, the first respondent herein filed an interlocutory application in I.A.No.83 of 2025 for raising the attachment, and the same was allowed on 15.04.2025. Challenging the said order, the petitioners have filed the present Civil Revision Petition.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the Additional District Court, Pudukkottai, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.24 of 2018 within a reasonable time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. In such view of the matter, this Court is of the considered opinion that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice to issue a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.24 of 2018 within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 22.08.2025 Internet:Yes/No Index:Yes/No TSG To
