ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners /accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(A), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act and u/s. 77 of JJ Act, in Cr.No.612 of 2024, seek anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police and the learned counsel for the intervenor.
3. Considering the fact that the petitioners were travelling in an auto rickshaw, which was intercepted by the police and all the accused tried to run away and the police were able to apprehend only two of them and the petitioners being the other two, who ran away from the scene occurrence, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
