ORDER

The petitioners are the accused Nos.1 to 13 in C.C.No.353 of 2024 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Kariapatti, Virudhunagar District. They are facing the charges for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 506(1) of IPC r/w. Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. They have moved this petition to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.353 of 2024 pending against them on the ground of compromise.

2. Though this petition has been moved on the ground of compromise, there is no material placed before this Court. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have arrived at a compromise with the 2nd respondent/the defacto complainant and they will produce a joint compromise memo.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that apart from the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant, there are three other victims in this case.

4. Since the petitioners have not compromised with other injured victims, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to move a fresh petition by impleading other injured victims along with a joint compromise memo. 01.08.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes ogy To
