ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to make corrections in the FMB Sketch in respect of Survey No. 308/5A1A and subsequently issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Survey No. 308/5A1A situated at Pethanadarpatti I Village, Pavoorchathram, Alangulam Taluk, Tenkasi District.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.P.Murugesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he purchased 11-1/2 cents of land from one Ganesan under a sale deed dated 27.01.2025. An extent of 22-1/2 cents in the said survey number was allotted to Ganesan under a partition deed dated 22.03.2021. Ganesan also sold a portion of the property in the subject survey number to one Muthuraj. The petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents on 02.04.2025, seeking issuance of a separate patta and correction in the FMB based on his sale deed. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, he has approached this Court. 2/4

4. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 02.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, the said Muthuraj, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
