ORDER

The petitioner, who wishes to construct a temple in his patta land has submitted an application to the District Collector and filed this writ petition that his application has not been considered so far.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted an application as required under Rule 6 of the Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules on 24.01.2023 and also sent a reminder on 31.07.2023 seeking permission to construct a temple in his land. However, so far no order has been passed.

3.In view of the above, the 1st respondent is directed to take a decision and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. 18.08.2023 dsk 2/4
