[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the

respondents 7 to 9 for illegally transporting the sand and trees in and around M.Salai Village, Muthukulathoor Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and consequently to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take immediate action to prevent illegal sand smuggling around M.Salai Village, Muthukulathoor Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. On perusal of papers, we do not propose to issue any positive direction at this juncture due to efflux of time. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation before the concerned Authority, which shall be considered in accordance with law, if the grievance still exists.
