The present Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the Family Court, Madurai to dispose of the case in I.D.O.P.No.42 of 2022 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondent is taking many adjournments for filing a written statement. Therefore, he prayed to pass an order for speedy disposal of the case.

3. Since the Civil Revision Petition is filed for early disposal of the case, no notice is necessary to the respondent herein.

4. Though at the first blush, this Court is not inclined to pass any order in the Civil Revision Petition, considering the peculiar circumstances of the case and pleadings made in this petition, this Court deems it appropriate to give a direction to the Court below.

5. On perusal of the grounds of appeal, now the case is posted on 16.09.2023 for filing the counter statement. The Court below is directed to fix the last and final chance for the respondent to file a counter statement preferably on or before 06.10.2023.

6. In the result, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed. The Court below is directed to dispose of the case in I.D.O.P.No.42 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs. 12.09.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No ebsi To
