This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and police protection to install Vinayagar idol infront of Uthamapalayam Temple car and take out procession on 07.09.2024 as part of Vinayagar Chathurti festival by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 17.08.2024.

Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 2, 5 and 6 and Mr.M.Muthumanikkam, learned Government Advocate (Civil Side) takes notice for the respondents 1, 3 and 4. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the representation, dated 17.08.2024 given by the petitioner is pending before the sixth respondent. 4.Considering the above, the sixth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 17.08.2024 and pass orders within two days from today.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
