The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to improve the Government Primary Health Care, Thondi into Secondary Level Health Care, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.09.2022.

Heard Mr.S.Atham Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the fourth respondent 2/4

by proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2127/A8/2021, dated 14.08.2022, addressed to the petitioner, has informed that the proposal for upgrading the Government Primary Health Care, Thondi into Government Hospital, was sent to the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services, Chennai - 6 and has further informed that such upgradation is purely the policy decision of the Government. 4.

Recording the above submission of the learned Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
