O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the SC & ST Special Court, Ramanathapuram to consider the petitioner's bail petition on merits upon his surrender before the said Court and enlarge him on bail on the same day in respect of Cr.No.20 of 2023 on the file of the 2nd Respondent police. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the petitioner was in possession of the long sword at the time of offence and he was involved in 6 previous cases and subsequently, the petitioner has been acquitted in those 6 cases. It is submitted further that the petitioner has burned 2 two wheelers worth about more than Rs.1 lakh.

3.In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and taking into consideration of the previous history of the petitioner and the case has been registered against the petitioner not only under SC/ST(Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 but also under Arms Act, 1959, this 2/4

Court is not inclined to consider the request of the petitioner, thereby this Petition is dismissed.
