O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent No.2 police not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the police have been harassing the petitioner unnecessarily in respect of Crime No.10 of 2023, even though the petitioner is not at all connected with the same. It is submitted further that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the said crime.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the unofficial respondent No.3, who is one of the accused in Crime No.10 of 2023, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417 and 420 IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of Prize Chit and Money Cir.Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978, has transferred an amount of Rs.34,00,000/- to the account of the petitioner and asked the petitioner to transfer the said amount, in turn, in favour of a third person. It is submitted further that as per the investigation done so far, according to the police, 2/4

the petitioner is innocent. However, it is submitted that subsequent to the further investigation in Crime No.10 of 2023 only, the respondent police would proceed the case further against the petitioner by following due process of law. 4.By recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Petition is disposed of.
