This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide police protection for the Vinayagar Sathurthi Festival and for procession from Masthiri Street, Chenkottai, Tenkasi, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 28.08.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the second respondent has passed the impugned order, dated 29.08.2024, rejected the writ petitioner's representation, dated 28.08.2024.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was not served with any rejection order. 4.Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to serve the rejection order on the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
