This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceedings issued by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.2173/E3/2014 dated 30.03.2015 and the consequential proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2173/A1/2015 dated 16.06.2015, and for a direction to the third respondent to approve the appointment of one A.Michael Raj as Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce in the petitioner 2/5

College and disburse the grant-in-aid towards his salary and allowances with effect from the date of his appointment (i.e.,) 17.09.2012.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the appointment of the said Michael Raj as Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce in the petitioner College was approved vide proceedings dated 21.10.2021 and therefore, this Writ Petition becomes infructuous.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
