ORDER : These petitions coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petitions and the affidavits filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. PRABHU .M, Advocate for the petitioner in both petitions and of MR.L.SHAJI CHELLAN, Advocate on behalf of the 1st Respondent in both petitions and of MR.A.BASKARAN, Additional Government Pleader for the Respondents 2 to 4 in both petitions, the court made the following order:- (Order of the court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The applicant seeks impleadment.
2. We have heard Mr.M.Prabhu, learned counsel for the applicant; Mr.L.Shaji Chellan, learned counsel for the first respondent and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 2 to 4.
3. The writ petitions are filed against the cancellation of patta. The applicant is in no way concerned with the property. It is the case of the applicant that the original writ petitioners had encroached upon the property. In fact, the writ petitions are filed, as observed above, against the cancellation of patta. It is for the State Government and the other authorities to contest the petitions.
