Prayer in WP(MD) No.20052 of 2023: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass final orders on the petitioner's representation / statutory application dated 30.06.2023 under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act 1983 and mutate the patta in favour of the petitioner within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions submits that there is a mistake in the revenue records with regard to the extent of the petitioner's land and therefore, it needs to be surveyed before issuance of patta, for which, they require some more time.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that they are intending to conduct the survey before issuing patta, these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to complete this process within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
