2.Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions submits that there is a mistake in the revenue records with regard to the extent of the petitioner's land and therefore, it needs to be surveyed before issuance of patta, for which, they require some more time.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that they are intending to conduct the survey before issuing patta, these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to complete this process within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
