O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to connect the electric wire from the electric post to petitioner's house in service No.07-045-005-1098 at 1/426, Perumal Kovil Street, Korivalamvandhanallur, Sankarankovil Taluk, Thirunelveli District within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner's grievance is that a third party has cut down the electric wire which connected the meter box and the electric post and the petitioner has approached the respondents to rectify the damages caused to the meter box and service line and that was not considered by the respondents. Therefore, the present Writ Petition has been filed in the year 2015 seeking a direction to the respondents to connect the electric wire from the electric post to the petitioner's house. 2/4

3. There is no representation for the petitioner today. However, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that damages have been rectified and service connection has been restored and that was also transferred to another person.

4. In view of the abovesaid submission, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
