ORDER

The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant in Cr.No.130 of 2025 on the file of the third respondent, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to conduct further investigation. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent Police has not secured the accused.

2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents submits that a counter case has also been registered as against the petitioner. Since the present case has been registered under the provisions of SC/ST(POA)Act, the investigation has been conducted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tiruppur. 2/5

He further submits that they have almost completed the investigation and found that the complaint itself is a false one and no such occurrence was happened. Therefore, they are likely to close the case. However, since the case has been registered under the provisions of SC/ST (POA)Act, they have to complete several other formalities. 3.It appears that the case itself has been registered on 14.07.2025 and the investigation is also pending with the second respondent. The relief sought for by the petitioner is not proper. The investigating agency has to conduct the investigation in a fair and proper manner. In the event, if any report has been filed, it is open to the petitioner to workout her remedy in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed.
