Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to delete the names of Palaniya Pillai and Subramaniya Pillai in the Patta No.1105 relating to lands in Survey No.65 Melapalayam Village, Tirunelveli and restore the original patta No.86 which same entries before the inclusion of names of Palaniya Pillai and Subramaniya Pillai with in a period stipulated by this Court. Heard both sides.
2.The original writ petitioner / L.K.M.A.Mohammed Saleem filed W.P.(MD)No.10534 of 2013 for deleting the names of Palaniya Pillai and Subramania Pillai in respect of Old S.Nos.65, Melapalayam Village and for restoring his name. The writ petition was allowed on 04.07.2014. The grievance of the petitioner is that the such deletion has not been taken place. Hence, this writ petition came to be filed. 2/4
3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the name of the original writ petitioner has been restored in new Town S.Nos.86, 87, 88, 89 and 90. Since the original writ petitioner is no more, as and when the legal heirs submit joint application, the authorities are ready to carry out the necessary mutation.
4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader and the aforesaid subsequent developments in favour of the petitioners, this writ petition is disposed of.
