PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.254/2023 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A2 to 4 herein, who were arrested on 20.07.2023 for the alleged offences under Sections 436, 506(ii) of IPC Crime No.254 of 2023 on the file 1/3

of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that totally there are four accused in this case. On 19.07.2023, at about 1.35 a.m., some of the unknown persons criminally conspired together and set fire the car belongs to the Defacto Complainant and also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the case. 3.On the confession statement of the co-accused, the involvement of the petitioners came to light. Upon which, they have been arrested and remanded. Reading of the FIR shows that two vehicles have been set fire by the accused persons worth about Rs.7 lakhs. To show the damages, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the photographs of the damaged two vehicles. 4.

Considering the gravity of the offence and also considering the fact that the first accused is the person who arranged all these petitioners for the purpose of committing the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. 5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. sd/- 18/08/2023 / TRUE COPY / /09/2023 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
