ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.52 of 2023, dated 14.03.2024. within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.52 of 2023 and they have examined five witnesses and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks three months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.52 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
