ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose the representations of the petitioner, dated 21.04.2017 and 18.12.2018.
2.Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a senior citizen and he was retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.06.2003. The terminal benefits payable to the petitioner was not paid by the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner has sent representations https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.21313 of 2019 to the respondents. The respondents have not paid the terminal benefits and not passed any orders on the representation so far. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition.
4. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without deciding the issue on merits in the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 21.04.2017 and 18.02.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
