Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.A5/4132/2017 dated 23.12.2017 on the file of the Respondent and quash the same as illegal and further directing the Respondent to reconstruct the pipeline, disconnected on 13.10.2016 in East Street, Kallamparambu, Thoothukudi.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief : "to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.A5/4132/2017 dated 23.12.2017 on the file of the Respondent and quash the same as illegal and further directing the Respondent to reconstruct the pipeline, disconnected on 13.10.2016 in East Street, Kallamparambu, Thoothukudi."

2. From the impugned order, it is seen that the pipeline has been drawn by the petitioner without obtaining permission or sanction of the authorities concerned. Therefore, in that regard, the impugned order cannot be called into question.

3. However, it is well open to the petitioner to submit an application to the authorities concerned for grant of pipeline to his residence. On such application being made, the respondent shall consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 15.10.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes gbg To The Block Development Officer, Pudhukottai, Thoothukudi District.
