O R D E R

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the .first respondent to rectify the mistakes in UDR-Field Measurement Book(FMB) with respect to the land in Town Survey Nos.22 and 24 in Block 8, Ward G in Ramanathapuram Town, Ramanathapuram District by considering his representation, dated 17.6.2025. 2.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.It is the case of the Petitioner that the properties of his grand-father Chellasami was divided among his legal representatives by partition on 19.3.1973. The Field Measurement Book prepared by the official respondents is not in accordance with the properties allotted to the respective sharers. Therefore mentioning the defect in the FMB, the Petitioner submitted a representation on 17.6.2024 before the first respondent. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 2/5

4.MrM.Gangathran, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered in accordance with law, within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 17.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner, his paternal uncle Murugesan, Muthu Nadar or their legal heirs and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of his order.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
