Procedure to call for the records relating to the proceedings of C.C No. 1110 of 2023 on the file of the Learned Additional Mahila court,(Judicial Magistrate), Madurai, Madurai District and quash the same ORDER:- This Criminal Miscelleneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.Abdul Kalam Azad A.S, For Spicy Law Firm, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate for the respondent R1, and this Court made the following order: This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.OP(MD) No.17435 of 2023, dated 24.04.2024. 2.Crl.OP(MD) No.17435 of 2023 was filed by the petitioners to quash the proceedings in CC No.
1110 of 2023, pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Judicial Magistrate), Madurai, on the ground of compromise. This Court, while allowing the Criminal Original Petition, considering the energy and time spent by the respondent police at the time of investigation, imposed a cost of Rs.10,000/- each on the petitioners and directed them to pay the amount to the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the cost imposed on the petitioners is Rs.10,000/-. However, it was mentioned in the order that the petitioners are directed to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- each to the respondent police station.
4.In view of the above, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the condition imposed on the petitioners is modified to the effect that the petitioners are directed to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) to the respondent police station.
