ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Petition is filed to enlarge the petitioners on bail in respect of C.C No. 952 of 2024 in Crime No. 323 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi.

2. Earlier the petitioner was granted bail and in C.C, stage he absconded. After filing charge sheet, as the summon could not be served upon the petitioner, the trial Court, has issued non bailable warrant for appearance and he was arrested on 13.06.2024.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

4. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the petitioner is having 14 previous cases, apart from the present case and in the present case, the trial is going on and it is posted tomorrow (ie.03.09.2024) for examining L.W.2 to L.W.13 and there is a likelihood of the trial itself is getting over in the near future, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present.

5. However, considering the fact that the petitioner is in jail, the prosecution is directed to expedite the trial and the trial Court shall also take up the matter and complete the trial proceedings as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a 2/3

period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. If the trial is not completed within two months, the petitioner can re-new the prayer for bail.

6. This Petition is dismissed.
