Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner's cable TV registration certificate was renewed by the second respondent. By the impugned notice dated 23.11.2015, the second respondent has informed the petitioner that renewal was in breach of the instructions issued by the first respondent and that the petitioner may offer his objection. The petitioner came to this Court at the notice stage itself.

3.When the matter was taken up for final hearing, it is submitted that certain subsequent developments have taken place. The petitioner's cable TV registration certificate for the subsequent period had already been renewed. Earlier, the cable TV was having under analog regime. Now it is in digital mode. In view of the subsequent developments, the writ petition has become infructuous.
