For R-1 & R-2 : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate(Criminal Side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to expedite the investigation in Crime No.335 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent Police and to recover the stolen property.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that, on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.335 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent Police for the offences under Sections 419 and 420 of I.P.C. Since investigation is not proceeded in a right manner, thereby, sought for suitable directions.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on the other hand, submits that, the respondent Police have recovered so far 12 sovereigns of gold and examined three witnesses and submitted that, within a short time, they will complete the investigation and file a final report. 2/4

In view of the above, this criminal original petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.335 of 2020 and complete the same as expeditiously as possible not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
