Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay compensation of Rs.25 lakhs for the death of the petitioner's son Gopinath on 29.04.2015 that occurred in the crater dug by 5th respondent illegally and left without any protection or filling up of the pit in survey number 52/2 Part II of Palamedu Village, Madurai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2015 within the time stipulated by this Court.
