This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to constitute the Police Compliance Authority at State Level, District Level as directed by the Hon'ble Apex Court Prakash Singh-Vs-Union of India reported in 2006 (8) SCC 1.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that the Government in G.O.Ms.No.643, Home (Pol.VIII) Department, dated 14.11.2019, has issued notification for establishment of State Police Compliance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.21505 of 2019 Authority for the State and a District Police Compliance Authority for each District and Commissionerate and thereby the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous.

4.Recording the same, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
