Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. This criminal original petition has been filed for directing the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner so that she can put up a toilet in the petition mentioned land. According to the petitioner, the private respondents are opposing for putting up of the bathroom.

3. Prima facie it appears to be a civil dispute. When the petitioner is not having any enforceable order or decree of the civil Court in her favour, the police cannot be directed to provide police protection. I make it clear that if the private respondents have committed any cognizable offence and if the petitioner lodges any complaint, the third respondent will be bound to register First Information Report and take action as per law.
