PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the Letter of the Respondent in Letter No. JunEng/Dist/Col-II/Ko.Compln/A.No. 556/15 dated 28.11.2015 and quash the same and consequently direct the Respondent to grant electricity connection to the building to the petitioner comprised in Re-Survey No. 242/15C, Keezhmidalam B Village, Vilavancode, Taluk, Kanyakumari District.

O R D E R

The petitioner with a grievance that his application for grant of electricity connection to his building in RS.No. 242/15C, Keezhmidalam B Village, Vilavancode, Taluk, Kanyakumari District has not been considered by the respondent has filed this writ petition in the year 2015.

2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing today(31.10.2023), the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the electricity service connection has been granted to the petitioner and the prayer sought for in this writ petition has now become infructuous.

3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
