Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that since the period of fishing lease of Kulasekaranpatti Kanmoi as per the impunged notification is already over, the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.

2. Recording the above said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
