ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb based on his complaint dated 23.09.2019.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that already there is a dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 7 with regard to the suit property comprised in S.Nos.162/2, 162/3, 162/4, 162/7 and 161/3. In this regard, the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.92 of 2011 before the learned District Munsif Court, Aruppukottai, and the same is pending for trial. While the suit is pending, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the third respondent police against the respondents 4 to 7 and the same have been registered in Crime No.42 of 2011 and Crime No.116 of 2011. In the above said two cases, one case was ended in acquittal and another case was closed as 'mistake of fact'.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and considering the pendency of the suit, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered. Hence, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned Civil Court for appropriate relief in the manner known to law.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
