ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the first respondent Police to file the final report in Crime No.211 of 2022 within time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the second respondent, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.211 of 2022 on 09.03.2022 for the alleged offences under Sections 420, 294(b) and 506(2) IPC and that the investigation is not yet commenced. Hence, he seeks three months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.
4. Though the FIR came to be registered in the year 2022, this Court is at loss to understand as to why the investigation is not commenced for 2/4
the past two years. Considering the above, the Inspector of Police, Lalgudi Police Station is directed to proceed with the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The jurisdictional Superintendent of Police is directed to take necessary action for not commencing the investigation for the past two years.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
