O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to give no objection certificate for the purpose of getting training for the grant of arms license as per Rule 3 (5) of the SC/ST Rules 1995.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the first respondent and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 2 and 3. With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the request of the petitioner has already been rejected by the Revenue Divisional Officer, by his proceedings dated 02.09.2024 and he has produced a copy of the said order before this Court. 2/4

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that since the petitioner's request has already been rejected vide proceeding of the Revenue Divisional Officer, dated 02.09.2024, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the said proceedings.

5. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
