PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in pursuant to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.E4/49407/184/2023 dated 24.03.2024 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to reinstate the petitioner to the post of Home Guard in the 4th respondent office. O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by the Home Guard challenging the order of the suspension dated 24.03.2024.

2. A perusal of the order of the suspension reveals that the petitioner has been suspended for the period of six months from 24.03.2024 onwards. Considering the date of suspension, the suspension expires today, namely, 24.09.2024.

3. In view of the abovesaid facts, the respondents are directed to reinstate the petitioner as Home Guard.
