ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The writ petitioner's husband was employed as Driver in the respondent corporation. He died on 23.02.2022 in harness. The petitioner complains that the retirement benefits are yet to be sanctioned. The delay in disbursing the retirement benefits cannot be accepted. The respondents are directed to quantify the retirement benefits payable to the writ petitioner and disburse the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While quantifying the retirement benefits, the interest component will also be added. The respondents are obliged to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date on which the retirement benefits should have been disbursed till the date of actual payment.
