Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondents to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, petitioner's son namely Mariyappan and the petitioner's grand son namely kannan based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 28.08.2019. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, petitioner's son namely Mariyappan and the petitioner's grand son namely kannan based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 28.08.2019.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner the second respondent conducted enquiry and during enquiry, the second respondent found that the there is a dispute in respect of land and as such the complaint has been referred before the revenue authorities and it is pending on the file of the Revenue Divisional Officer for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14453 of 2019 3.At this stage, police protection cannot be provided to the petitioner. Hence the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However the petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer for enquiry in the proceedings initiated by the Revenue Divisional Officer.
