Heard Ms.D.Geetha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.Isaac Mohanlal for 1/3

2.This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Certiorari, to call for the records on the file of the third respondent in proceedings SXC/SEC/BOT/2021/2 dated 18.10.2021 whereby the petitioner is placed under suspension and quash the same.
3.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.According to the petitioner, he has been working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Botany in the respondent College. The fourth respondent has issued a charge memo dated 23.09.2021 to the petitioner in connection with the unsavory incident involving with his colleague. Pending disciplinary proceedings, he has been placed under suspension vide impugned proceedings of the third respondent dated 18.10.2021. 5.
Today, when this Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that the petitioner has been placed under suspension and he is facing disciplinary proceedings and now, enquiry has also been completed and the order of suspension has been revoked and he has also advised the respondents to withdraw the suspension order and to proceed with the disciplinary proceedings and to pass final orders. Accordingly, the suspension order has been withdrawn with a direction to the petitioner to join duty from tomorrow onwards. 6.In view of the above submission, since the order impugned in the Writ Petition has been withdrawn by the respondents, no further orders are necessary in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
