ORDER

The petitioner with an allegation that the respondent police is harassing him under the guise of an enquiry has approached this Court. 2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents submits that the fourth respondent has lodged a complaint as against the petitioner that he has created forged patta for the land in S.Nos.422/7 & 429/7, based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in CSR.No.93 of 2025, dated 15.07.2025 and they are conducting preliminary enquiry.

3.Recording the above submission, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner for a period of two weeks enabling him to appear for the enquiry. The respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry and complete the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event, if any cognizable offence is made out, it is open to the respondent Police to register a case or else close the complaint. 05.08.2025 gns 2/4
