ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for 1/3

the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii) (B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.585 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation in Crime No.585 of 2021 has been completed and the final report has been filed before the concerned Court by showing this petitioner is an absconding accused. He further submitted that one previous case is pending against the petitioner.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed and the petitioner shall surrender before the respondent police and thereafter, seek regular bail.
