ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to give duty to the petitioner pending disposal of hte petition.

2.The petitioner was engaged through a contractor based on the terms and conditions of the contract. The said contract came to an end on 31.03.2015 itself. On account of expiry of the contract period, the petitioner was disengaged. It is pertinent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.22187 of 2015 to note that the petitioner is a contract labour and the Airport authority of India has not engaged the petitioner directly nor issued any order of appointment. This apart, the period of contract also expired with the said contractor and under these circumstances, the relief as such sought for to direct the respondents to provide duty to the petitioner cannot be entertained. Thus, the Writ Petition is devoid of merits and stands dismissed. No costs.
