Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to initiate an enquiry by a Special Officer and take appropriate action against the erred officials and non-entitled beneficiaries for the malpractice and misappropriation committed by them in the implementation of Drought Relief Assistance Scheme in Vaippar - I Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, during the year 2016-2017 and disburse the relief amount to the entitled farmers, based on the petitioner's representations, dated 22.11.2017 and 05.01.2018, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner wanted action against irregularities, alleged to have taken place in the implementation of Drought Relief Assistance Scheme in Vaippar - I Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, 2.A perusal of the instruction furnished by the Tahsildar, Vilathikulam, dated 16.07.2018, to the learned Special Government Pleader would show that the objection of the petitioner was considered and it was found that there is no irregularity in the implementation of Drought Relief Assistance Scheme in Vaippar - I Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District. The petitioner was also given a copy of the decision taken in this regard. The learned Special Government Pleader has also furnished one more copy to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 3.In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
