PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.21 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 11.08.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 410 and 506(1) IPC, in crime No.21 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant and his relatives gave Rs.20,00,000/- to the petitioner for securing government job and the petitioner without securing the job, cheated the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 11.08.2022 and hence, he may be granted bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.17077 of 2022 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that it is a clear case of job racketing and the petitioner has received Rs.20,00,000/- from the de-facto complainant. He would further submit that the investigation is in preliminary stage and hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the gravity and nature of the offence and also considering the quantum of the amount involved in this case and also the fact that the investigation is in preliminary stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this point of time.
