The petitioner said to have purchased 43 1⁄2 cents in S.No. 709/1B3 by way of a registered sale deed in the year 2021. The petitioner has also approached the District Revenue Officer that there are some mistakes in UDR revenue records and filed this writ petition that his application dated 01.06.2022 has not been considered so far. 2.Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents on instructions submits that the land in S.No.709/1B3 is an extent of 1 acre and 8 cents. However, this petitioner has purchased 43 1⁄2 cents and one Vellaichamy has purchased 74.50 cents. In total, they said to have purchased 1 acre 18 2/5

cents and therefore, the second respondent has directed to conduct a survey and file a report. Based on the survey report and other revenue records, decision would be taken within a reasonable time. 3.Considering the representation of the learned Government Advocate that the enquiry as well as survey has already been conducted, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to conclude the proceedings as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
